The Oxwich is great for short or long stays. It’s quick to set up, making it ideal for touring, but is comfortable for longer stays because of its generous headroom and high specification. The Oxwich is available in two sizes, the smaller size suitable for two or three people whilst the largest will accommodate up to six.

The Kampa Oxwich 6 Tent is another popular design of tent. The quick and easy set up of three main poles forming a regular tunnel gives this tent height throughout and a fairly equal amount of living space to sleeping space. There are a vast amount of tents like this on the market with Vango having about 3 or 4 varieties themselves but the Kampa Oxwich is right up there in terms of specification. The Oxwich has an impressive 5000mm HH waterproofing, a side door with wet weather entrance and mesh, fully sewn in groundsheet and cable entry point.
Recommendation
A style of tent that has been around for many years due to its simplicity and head height. Ideal tent for short breaks and weekend camping but can be extended into a tent more compatible with longer stays by adding the optional front awning. Not necessarily the cheapest tent of this style in the marketplace but certainly one of the best.
